The SIA participates actively in the French automobile sector with the main professional automobile organisations <strong>(CCFA for the car manufacturers or FIEV for the component manufacturers)</strong>, competitiveness clusters and institutes.<br>
<br>
In that capacity, <strong>it assumes the role of general secretariat of the Automobile Committees and Operational Advice</strong> related to new product or production technologies, <strong>under the auspices of the PFA (Automobile Platform)</strong>.<br>
Since the PFA is the organisation of collective interest and the sole platform in the automobile sector whose mission is to consolidate and develop the 4,000 companies, automobile and road transport manufacturers in France, based on a clear vision of the branch's major stakes in terms of innovation, regulations, norms and standards, industrial competitiveness, skills and jobs.
