<p class="emphasis">Our goal is to help increase professional satisfaction by linking peers and fostering community relationships.</p>
<h2><a href="/conferences/?type=1">Dermatology Morphology/Grand Rounds</a></h2>
<p>
We are a didactic conference where a series of patients of teaching value are presented by Pacific Northwest dermatologists. The conference occurs every Wednesday morning from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. All community dermatology providers are encouraged to invite and present patients with interesting or challenging skin diseases.

From 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m., patient viewing occurs in the clinic area on the 16th floor of the Center for Health and Healing (CHH). Then, from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., the cases are discussed in the Rood Family Pavilion conference center room 1205 (3410 SW Bond Ave.). The discussion portion, frequently moderated by volunteer clinical faculty, includes a discussion of morphologic description, differential diagnosis, and review dermatopathology with a digitized clinical/pathological correlation. Additionally, each week a 5-minute didactic presentation will summarize the high yield points from a previous week’s topic.

<h2><a href="/conferences/?type=3">Virtual Melanoma Tumor Board</a></h2>
<p>
We are a multidisciplinary conference where Pacific Northwest providers who care for patients with melanoma and advanced skin cancers can present their most difficult cases. The conference occurs every Thursday morning from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. All community melanoma providers are encouraged to present patients with advanced and challenging cutaneous cancers.

The OHSU multidisciplinary team (dermatology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, dermatopathology, and radiology) discusses cases from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. in person in 9th floor Conference Room 9006 at the Center for Health and Healing Building 2 (CHH), and remotely. Depending on the presenting provider's clinical questions, our team will review relevant pathology, radiology, clinical photography, and medical history.
